 EZAgent System Requirements: 

The following technical requirements are what you must have to install and run EZAgent. These system requirements and recommendations are subject to change as technology evolves. For more detail on configuration and setup see the product User Manual.

Using EZAgent with UAC/Restricted Permissions? Please read this

Server*:

  • Quad core processor (or better)
  • 8+ GB RAM
  • 4 GB HD space free ** (NAS drives are not supported)
  • Gigabit wired network***
  • Supported operating systems: Professional versions of Windows 8, Windows 10; supported versions of Server OS are Standard or Enterprise (not Essentials) versions of Server 2012, Server 2016, & Server 2019****(untested) 
  • Internet connection
  • TCP Port 1163 opened (to check subscription status for update password)

* Hyper-V is not supported due to the inability to disable write behind caching.

** Initial HD space for program and database storage, this does not include document storage (which is likely to use up significantly more space as the agency goes paperless).

*** Databases are prone to corruption over wireless networks.

**** Server version untested.

Workstation:

  • Dual core processor (or better)
  • 4+ GB RAM
  • 100 MB HD space free
  • 100 MBPS network card (Gigabit highly recommended)*
  • Wired network*
  • Windows Professional versions: Windows 8, Windows 10
  • Internet connection for technical support
  • Installed default printer driver

*If workstation accesses the program through the network.

Note: End of life for Windows 7 and Server 2008 is scheduled for 1/1/2020. Recent changes to the operating system security has resulted in communication conflicts between newer platform workstation and older platform servers.
