Paul grew up the youngest of five siblings, spending his teenage years surfing
the waves of Southern California. He gave up the surfboard when he went to
Vietnam, but he didn't give up the water - that's where he first learned to
sail.
Eventually he moved to the Pacific
Northwest with his wife and two children. Ever the water
enthusiast, he's raced and cruised all types of sailboats
- from C-15's to a Landfall 38 - on the Columbia River,
the Pacific Ocean, and the Straits of San Juan. He heard
the call of God and moved his family to Coeur d'Alene,
Idaho, where they now enjoy their boating on the myriad
pristine lakes of North Idaho. |
