Greg came to Agency Software with many years of programming in
the Insurance Industry field, and prior to that was an
Insurance Agent in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State. He
started out as a Life Insurance agent with Prudential, and
from there he worked with independent agencies of Dunning-Ray
in Sunnyside, Washington, Where he was in charge of personal
lines. He first began programming in the scientific field for
Sigma Research in Richland, Washington, where he developed a
hand-held ultrasonic scanner for non-destructive testing of
structures such as bridges. Moving on to United States Testing
he was in charge of TLD programming, developing the badges
worn by employees to test monthly accumulation of radiation
exposure. Greg then went into business for himself with two
other high school friends and formed a software company, which
they grew to be very successful and then sold.
Here at ASI he is developing integration relationships, which
include AL3 downloads through IVANS, and he works with XML
Data Transfers. He works directly with the companies with
which we download to certify the format in which they send
data. Greg is also involved in some support efforts with
programming in the EasyApps Pro and Agency Pro software. As
you can see, he is a very busy guy.
Greg's outside activities have included EMT at Mercer Island
Fire Department and First Aid Room at Rogers of Walla Walla in
the Pasco plant, both in Washington State. Greg is the father
of two teenage sons, so his hands are full at home, also.
If you participate in the Agency Software Download program,
you may have occasion to speak with Greg. If so, enjoy his
expertise!
